  I’m not replacing tumblr or anything but I’ve started a word press for real blogging. Tumblr is a community of skimmers and scollers. We roll up and down out dashboards clicking a little heart and briefly stopping to read the odd short bit of text.

  So this new blog is for people who are really interested in ‘photography’. And by this I mean larger chunks of writing about contemporary work, emerging photographers and of course my own work. I’m not making some huge online resource but if you’d like more in depth updates about my own projects, collections of images from shoots and my thoughts on the world of real photography, Steidl, BJP, American Suburbs, MOMA, The Photographers Gallery, exhibiting work, self publishing etc… all the things that make me tick or piss me off…
