  A lot of people follow me because I shoot half naked models sometimes, photograph certain bands etc etc, which is cool because I do that and I follow people for similar reasons. But by a real interest in photography I mean you read/buy books about it, articles, follow contemporary photography blogs… Perhaps for uni students like myself too who are studying it. Basically if your interest extends beyond the pretty side of image making (which again I’m not saying is a bad thing by any means) to the theory of practice and process, photography as a tool for representation and documentary… All of that side of things. Perhaps I worded it wrong, but that’s my thinking.
