  Alec Soth - The Last Days Of W

  I’m beginning an essay on contemporary photography’s exploration of place and space. It’s always important when you’re doing a piece of writing for your degree, to make sure it’s about a subject or subjects you’re interested in. There’s no use trying to tick boxes that bore you. So I thought I’d probably start by writing a little about how this guy experiences and represents places and spaces.
